Join us Sunday October 23 at 10:00 a.m. for our annual "remembrance" ride honoring our dear friend and riding cohort Suzanne Rustoni, taken from us all too soon. We ride from the Duck Pond in Rochester along the Paint Creek Trail. Ride distances vary for riders ranging from 8 miles to 20 miles and this year a Gravel Grinder training ride at a fun pace lead by Jamie Smith as we will cover 50 miles (or a tad more) heading north toward General Squires Park (never been there before have you?), and along rural and tree lined roads in northern Oakland County after riding the Paint Creek Trail and the Polly Anne Trail.

A stop at the Cider Mill along the Paint Creek Trail is the focused highlight of our ride. Suggested donations of $5.00, $10.00, or $20.00 are appreciated and will this year go to Michigan Youth Cycling and awards will focus on young female riders who demonstrate citizenship, scholarship, and sportsmanship. Rides will mostly be on the trails and for some dirt roads so your bike of choice can vary from a road bike, cyclecross, mountain or fat tire.

Suzanne was for years the most outstanding woman rider in Michigan and her perpetual smile still radiates in the minds of all who knew her. Please join us for this annual celebration of Suzanne's life, devoted to helping and working with children.

Looking forward to riding with you.
